Education Technology Integrationist, Seoul Foreign School, Google Certified Teacher, Google Apps Qualified Individual, Brian Hamm is a Google Qualified Individual, Google Certified Teacher, and Education Technology Integrationist at Seoul Foreign School, an international school with over one hundred years of history in the region that serves approximately 1500 students from over 55 countries. As a versatile educator, some of Brian’s other roles have included IB Higher Level History and Western Civilizations teacher at SFS, Athletics Director and Head of the Physical Education Department at Tarsus American College in Turkey, and AD/P.E. HoD at North America’s first urban aboriginal school, Amiskwaciy Academy, in Edmonton, Canada. Brian completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Education (History and Physical Education) at the University of Alberta where he played 5 years as a varsity athlete on the men's soccer team, and completed his Master’s Degree in Education Administration at Endicott College at satellite campuses in Madrid and Leysin. He is passionate about collaborative, purposeful and service based projects that impact and empower students to make a difference in their communities. Brian agrees with the common view that tech integration is a journey rather than a destination, but adds that if this is the case, Google Apps for Education is your Swiss Army Knife. You wouldn’t want to travel without it and it has something to offer for nearly any job.
